International activities

As part of its activities, ARNES is involved in the operation of several international organisations:

• GÉANT
• CEENet (Central and Eastern European Networking Association)
• RIPE (Regional Internet Registry)
• EURid (The European Registry of Internet Domain Names)
• FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams)
• Euro-IX (European Internet Exchange Association)

ARNES is a founding member of GÉANT and a member of NREN PC (National Research and Education Programme Committee). ARNES representatives sit on the boards of GÉANT, EURid and ENISA (European Network and Information Security Agency), and as advisors to the GAC (Governmental Advisory Committee). ARNES employees are members of GÉANT working groups.
